I grew up just outside of Baltimore, Maryland, and attended Mount St. Mary’s University for my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. After graduating, I transitioned to a research assistant position in Dr. David Ginty’s Lab at Harvard Medical School, where I worked on projects in developmental neurobiology and somatosensation. After I joined the MCO program, I joined Dr. Lisa Goodrich’s lab at Harvard Medical School to study the neurons that mediate our sense of hearing. My thesis work focuses on neuroimmune interactions in the inner ear and roles for these interactions in infections. Outside of the lab, you will probably find me hiking in the White Mountains in NH, baking yummy treats, or running!
