FALL

  • Shopping week and study cards: During shopping week, we’ll have lots of walk-in hours during which you can drop in to discuss your courses and enjoy a snack and a cup of coffee (a list of walk-in hours will be posted on the MCB Office Hours page prior to the first day of classes each semester).  We’ll host a shopping week social, during which you can drop in to discuss your courses, get your study card signed, and enjoy Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, and other treats.
  • Grad school/fellowships panel: Chat with some current faculty and graduate students about how they decided to apply to grad school, how they approached their applications, and what fellowships are out there.

SPRING

  • Advising Fortnight Life Sciences Open House: trying to choose your concentration? Come by our table during Freshman Advising Fortnight to learn about requirements and opportunities. The time, date, and location of the Open House will be posted in the Spring on the MCB Office Hours page.
  • Advising Fortnight Life Sciences Panel Discussion: Still undecided? We host a discussion on the highlights of, and differences between, the different concentrations. The time, date, and location of the Panel Discussion will be posted in the Spring on the MCB Office Hours page.
  • MD or PhD Panel? Are you trying to decide what you want to do for a career? This panel discusses the training and professional life of an MD, a PhD or an MD/PhD.
