The one term MCO teaching requirement offers contrasting options of classroom experience: large undergraduate courses accompanied by independent section teaching, and small, discussion-based courses, containing more advanced material. Teaching beyond the one term requirement is possible with approval.
Students partake in a pedagogy course that is designed in consultation with the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning. The course furnishes graduate students with the resources and support required to become excellent instructors.
