Six Seniors Elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society!

Six Seniors Elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society!

Each fall, the Harvard chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa (PBK) honor society inducts 48 seniors with exceptional academic track records. This year’s “Senior 48” includes CPB concentrators Andrew Cho (‘20) and Jeanna Qiu (‘20), MCB concentrators Sophia Jackman (‘20) and Matthew Parsons (‘20), and Neuroscience concentrators Kelsey Ichikawa (‘20) and Olivia McGinnis (‘20).

PBK is the oldest academic honor society in the United States, and Harvard’s chapter has been running continuously since 1781. Each semester,  election committees—comprised of Harvard faculty, staff, and student members of PBK—choose new members based on candidates’ GPAs, the breadth of courses the candidates have pursued, and letters of recommendation. Election to the society is one of the highest honors for an undergraduate at Harvard.

Congratulations to these seniors!
