The PhD Track in Engineering and Physical Biology (EPB) invites you to attend their annual Symposium, being held on Saturday April 30th from 9:30am to 12:30pm in the Northwest Building, 52 Oxford St, Room B101. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
As in the past, this Symposium is designed to bring together students and faculty from diverse disciplines within the University and beyond.
The EPB track, now in its tenth year, is path for PhD students wishing to “probe living systems through the lens of physics and engineering”. It is currently part of the MCO Graduate Program administered through MCB.
The day will be divided into two parts. The morning (9:30am – 12:30 pm) will be a public symposium featuring three visiting faculty. (See poster.) The public is welcome to attend, and the talks should be of wide interest to the Harvard science community.
The afternoon will feature graduate student presentations and discussions in a more intimate setting with speakers and faculty that should promote the cross-fertilization of disciplines that EPB encapsulates. These sessions will not be open to the general public.
