EndNote Training

Information covered in the EndNote class:

Endnote is a database program for managing and manipulating bibliographic references. It was built to make creating and formatting bibliographies in research papers easy and flexible. With Microsoft Word and Word Perfect, Endnote makes building a bibliography easy. This hands-on workshop covers: creating a database of references, entering references manually, importing references from bibliographic databases such as HOLLIS, downloading images, filters, connection files, output styles, using Endnote and Microsoft Word together to create documents with bibliographies, customization of Endnote using Preferences, term lists, journal templates, modifying reference types and output styles, creating subject bibliographies, and linking to full-text. (2 hours)

Information covered in the Customized EndNote class:

In this workshop we will cover Endnote for 2-12 people in a research group or class. We can teach a specialized EndNote class for these groups. As well as covering EndNote as noted above, topics could include downloading from requested specialized bibliographic databases and modifying output styles and filters.
