Kevin Eggan Named Investigator by Stowers Medical Institute

Kevin Eggan, Assistant Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biology, has been appointed Assistant Investigator by the Stowers Medical Institute (SMI), based in Cambridge and founded and funded by Jim and Virginia Stowers. SMI will provide approximately $5.9 million for Eggan’s lab over the next five years. As part of the arrangement, Eggan and several members of his lab have become employees of SMI, but will continue to conduct their research at Harvard.
